Sunday 23rd February and as a warm spring zephyr danced across the rolling fairways 48 motivated and inspired combatants headed out for a test of mind and sinew …. Meanwhile at SouthWinchester Golf Club those that managed to drag themselves out of bed and don more wet weather gear than a Bering Sea crab fisherman headed out to grin and bear it …. Although as it turned out, it was a very pleasant afternoon.
Soaring to victory, on a the day where scores were extremely tight, were the EAGLES beating the MAD HATTERS by 1 point….and I bet they were….
