Pete and his green keeping team are working hard keeping the course irrigated in this relentless heat (not that we are complaining!)
We are looking into getting brushes on the mowers so that we are able to stripe the fairways with real distinction whilst not cutting them to allow them to recover slightly.
This week we have been focusing on the aesthetics of the entrance and in particular the long hedgerows whilst working on the bunkers on holes 11, 12 & 13 to reapportion the sand coverage.
We are working hard to find a new F&B Manager and extra team members as Mo will be leaving us for his annual trip to Egypt soon.
Last week saw the #Junior100 where we welcomed local children to partake in a fun competition and gave away 4 memberships to encourage local talent.
Please may we remind members that you need to book in at the Pro shop prior to teeing off every round. This is a contractual part of your free insurance and as such you may not be insured if you do not. We also need to know who is on the course so that we can manage the tee sheet better ensuring more tee times available for members.
