Dear members
Last weekend the Green keepers were dealt a blow with the computerised irrigation system going down.
Pete identified this early and has been coming in at night to manually turn the system on to save the Greens during this hot weather.
This should be rectified now and as such you may see some overwatering to compensate during the day.
This week, work will continue on the Tees and the cutting regime.
The 18th has been striped up and has been receiving positive comments as we endeavour to find lush grass that will show the alternate cutting.
Whilst the team focus on the set up of the course we appreciate all members and guests with the helping hand of raking the bunkers and repairing pitch marks and divots.
Unfortunately, Candice has left the company so we are actively looking for a Food and Beverage Manager if you know of any?
In other news, Neal Apps will be continuing as competitions secretary for this season and spaces are still open for Captains day on Sat 13th July but sign up closes this Sunday. Details on the notice board for both the AM and PM events.
