Captain & Pro Challenge: A fantastic turnout with 36 pairs entering the competition on a beautiful spring day. Peter and Josh (Pro) could not quite match the conditions coming in with a nett 70 they were subsequently beaten in match play by 19 pairs, drew with 6 and beat 11. Winners on the day with the greatest winning margin were Peter Earwaker and Nathan Stock running out 5&3 winners. Thanks to everyone for supporting the event and best of luck to Mr Parrett next year ! FYI – Josh was a great partner, his support act was not quite up to it on the greens… Peter Tubb Club Captain 2019
And finally – good news that Kevan Walsh and Tim Markwick defeated Alresford 4&3 in the next round of the Daily Mail Foursomes national competition.
