Match Result – The Gales Hockley Mens Over Fifties Golf Competition

The first round Gales Hockley match was played today away at New Forest Golf Club, all matches were hard fought and we had two fine wins from Mike Sandbrook and Mike Parton respectively. Well done Mike and Mike.

Unfortunately the remaining games in the tie were lost leading to an eventual result of 7 matches to New Forest and 2 to South Winchester.

Home advantage is really important in these knock out competitions and we hope to make that count in the Bridport Bowl Competition at the end of the month when we face New Forest again — but this time on home ground at South Winchester.
