A decent field of 81 players turned out for this year’s Inaugural Cup which was played in almost perfect golfing conditions. For the second time in recent weeks the long-term leader in the Clubhouse was overhauled by a member of the last group of players.
On this occasion, despite missing a short putt on the last, the Lady and overall winner, with 40 points, was Linda Kershaw. The Male winner was Tony Lockett, also with 40 points.
Reminders
As a result of our shortened golfing season, future competitions are coming up thick and fast, those currently open for entry, including the Club Championship, are shown in IG.
Lastly, a prompt to all – Vicky Dunlop is doing her parachute jump on the 6th of August. All of the proceeds are going to the Captains’ Charity. We will have very few opportunities to raise money for the charity this year so I would ask you to give generously.
