Dear members – please see below news that the annual Hangover Classic Jan 1st event is open to enter on the board – closing date 16.12.19.
Secondly, with the weather once again providing some challenging conditions proposals to re-name the competition the “Wetter League” are under consideration. Once again, it was great to see the terrific attitude and spirit that seems to define this competition and especially the top two matches which went all the way to the 18th
Quite a few 9 hole matches and a few “clubhouse halves” but the less said about those the better – don’t look too closely at the last one!! Some very good matches overall and not much in it on the day so with three teams tied on 12 points it came down to Bonus points to decide the winners. Congratulations this week to the Reformers with their second overall win of the season and also to the Over C’s with their second overall second! Vouchers will be distributed as below. In the league table it is still the Fleetwood Macs who are calling the tune but three of the top four teams have yet to have their “week off” so its still very tight. The next fixture is on Sunday November 24th and this is the last fixture of 2019 before the Xmas break.
