Autumn/Winter came crashing in on Sat 6th October.
Sandwiched between 2 lovely end of summer days, Saturday 6th October saw mother nature bare her teeth as constant rain and single figure temperatures greeted the Charity Cup players.
43 pairs braved the elements to compete in the annual Charity Cup event, a pairs better ball stableford competition.
With 16 pairs completing 9 or less holes, the remaining 27 pairs bravely battled on, completing all 18 holes.

1st Raman Prendergast & Simon Gardner – 45 points
2nd Nick Tout & Peter Lelliot – 42 Points
3rd Steve Lyons & Jo Lyons – 40 points (on count back)

A big thank you also goes out to Graham Roads, patron and sponsor of the Charity Cup event which this year raised in excess of £500 to the Captain’s Charity.
