Many thanks to all those who bought tickets for this year’s raffle, the event raised £800 for the Captains’ Charity. This equals or exceeds the amount raised for this event in the last few years which, given the circumstances is a great result.
The draw took place (obeying social distancing rules) on the beautiful sunny afternoon of the 25th April when The Lady Captain pulled out two lady winners, Carol Cheyne and Jayne Payne. I assure everyone that there were male names in the basket.
Let’s hope we can get back to playing golf in the not too distant future. When this happens and depending upon what is allowed, we will reschedule the diary to see what we can fit into the remainder of the year.
