BOOK YOUR TEE TIME TODAY

9th

default

The 9th is widely regarded as the toughest hole on the course—a demanding 410-yard par 4 from the yellow tees that rewards both confidence and careful course management.

Golfers aiming to reach the green in two must take on the lake that guards the right side of the fairway from around 220 yards, while a more cautious lay-up leaves a challenging uphill approach. Bunkers positioned 30 yards short of the green are ready to catch anything under-hit, but be careful not to be too aggressive, as shots carrying beyond the green risk finding out of bounds.

15th

default

The 15th is South Winchester’s spectacular signature hole, a memorable 429-yard par 4 that combines striking scenery with a demanding challenge.

The tee shot must carry the lake while avoiding the out-of-bounds area along the right, before the fairway sweeps downhill towards a distinctive lone oak tree. From there, the approach is as beautiful as it is testing, played through an avenue of trees to a well-protected green below. The putting surface offers a generous target when approached accurately, but any shot coming up short risks being gathered by the bunker guarding the front.

18th

default

The 18th provides a thrilling finish to your round and a superb spectacle for those watching from the clubhouse terrace.

Measuring 489 yards, this par 5 features a sharp dogleg to the left after approximately 230 yards, giving golfers a clear choice between playing sensibly for par or taking on the corner in pursuit of birdie. Cutting too much from the tee brings out of bounds firmly into play, but a well-positioned drive can leave an exciting opportunity to reach the green in two from around 200 yards. Accuracy is essential, with a lake guarding the green and a bunker waiting to the left, ensuring every closing shot demands your full attention.
